“This is exactly the kind of experience I've dreamed of bringing to the INTS community.”

Carrie built It's Not That Serious as a community where women rise together. She believes the most meaningful experiences come from the people we meet, the places we discover and the stories we share along the way, and she is travelling with the group to bring that spirit to Africa.

Questions, answered

Which flights do I need to book?

Only your international flights: arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) on November 5, 2027, and departing from Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) on November 16, 2027. Both domestic flights inside Tanzania are included. Once your place is confirmed, we are happy to advise on routings.

I am travelling on my own. Can I join?

Absolutely, many guests will. Choose a single room, or tell us you would like to share and we will do our best to pair you with another traveller in the group.

Is the hot air balloon safari included?

No, it is optional at $530 per person, on the morning of Day 6 and subject to availability. Mention it in your reservation request and we will reserve it with your booking. Guests who skip the balloon enjoy an early morning game drive instead.

How do I pay?

A non-refundable 30% deposit secures your place, by bank transfer or card (card payments carry a 3.5% surcharge). The 70% balance is due 60 days before departure, by September 6, 2027. We accept USD, and also EUR, GBP and TZS.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, comprehensive travel insurance is required: trip cancellation and interruption, medical evacuation and repatriation, emergency medical treatment, and baggage cover. Please send us proof of cover at least 60 days before departure. We recommend buying it as soon as you pay your deposit. AMREF Flying Doctors evacuation cover within Tanzania is also included in the package.
