Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Your safari adventure begins with arrival and transfer to your hotel. Our friendly driver will greet you, walk you through your itinerary, and ensure you feel right at home. Arusha, nestled beneath the majestic Mt. Meru, is a vibrant city full of character and charm, offering a perfect prelude to the wonders that await in the wild.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After a hearty breakfast, your expert safari guide will whisk you away to Tarangire National Park. Journey through vast golden savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees, winding riverine woodlands, and rugged hills. The park is famed for its massive elephant herds, thriving populations of lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and wildebeest. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, looking for wildlife amid the classic safari scenery, with a hot lunch at Tarangire Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
As the sun rises, set off on a journey to the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most breathtaking and surreal destinations. Descend into the crater floor, a lost Eden teeming with life, holding one of the highest densities of wildlife on the continent and offering excellent chances to see the 'Big Five'. Spend the day looking for the formidable hyena clan, critically endangered black rhino, magnificent elephants, and over 50 lions.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park
Embark on a guided game drive through Lake Manyara National Park, exploring its remarkable variety of landscapes and wildlife, from lush groundwater forests with baboons and blue monkeys to acacia woodlands and grassy floodplains. Keep an eye out for the park's famous tree-climbing lions and elephants. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch. In the afternoon, experience the Lake Manyara Treetop Canopy Walkway, an exhilarating adventure high above the forest floor.
