Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel. You'll be introduced to our team, walk through your itinerary, and soak in the spirit of Arusha, a vibrant city nestled beneath Mt. Meru. Explore local museums, browse artisan stalls, or simply enjoy the rhythm of this dynamic city.
Day 2: Arusha
Meet and greet in the morning. After enjoying lunch, you will embark on an Arusha Town Tour, visiting the Clock Tower, the lively Maasai Market, and the renowned Cultural Heritage Centre. The day concludes with an authentic local dinner at Kitamu Restaurant.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Seronera Airstrip in the central Serengeti. Upon arrival, your experienced safari guide will lead you on your first game drive through this UNESCO World Heritage site, searching for elusive leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and lion prides.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to a full day of guided game drives, allowing you to journey deeper into the soul of the Serengeti. Witness herds of elephants at watering holes, lionesses with cubs, and exhilarating cheetah sprints across the plains. The day culminates with a magical bush dinner under the Serengeti sky.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Bid farewell to the Serengeti plains with game en route as you exit the park. Journey southward to Olduvai Gorge, the 'Cradle of Mankind', to explore the museum. Continue to a traditional Maasai village for a meaningful cultural visit, gaining insights into their daily life and time-honoured traditions.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Embark on a journey to the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, descending into its floor for a guided game drive. This natural sanctuary offers one of the best chances to spot the 'Big Five', including black rhinos, formidable hyena clans, magnificent elephants, and over 50 lions.
Day 7: Lake Eyasi
Today offers a rare journey to Lake Eyasi for a cultural encounter. Spend the morning with the Hadzabe people, one of Africa’s last true hunter-gatherer tribes, participating in their morning rituals. Later, visit the Datoga tribe, skilled blacksmiths and pastoralists, learning about their crafts and heritage.
Day 8: Zanzibar Island
After a relaxed breakfast in Karatu, enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha. Have lunch in Arusha before transferring to the airport for your onward flight to the spice-scented island of Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by your guide and escorted to your hotel to begin your island relaxation.
Day 9: Zanzibar Stone Town
In the morning, embark on an aromatic Spice Tour through lush plantations, learning about and tasting various spices. Enjoy lunch at 6 Degrees South Restaurant in Stone Town. In the afternoon, take a guided Stone Town Tour, exploring winding alleyways, historic landmarks, and cultural sites including the Anglican Church and Freddie Mercury’s House.
Day 10: Zanzibar Island
Enjoy a full day of leisure and relaxation on Zanzibar Island. Wake up to the gentle rhythm of the ocean waves, lounge by the resort’s sparkling infinity pool, or indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment. This day is dedicated to unwinding and reconnecting with yourself amidst the serene island beauty.
Day 11: Zanzibar Island
Enjoy a final morning of leisure and relaxation on Zanzibar. Later, you will be transferred to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your departure, concluding your incredible journey through Tanzania, filled with unforgettable moments and beautiful memories.
